As an experienced international Para rider myself, I understand the needs of the Para rider and also the requirements from a Para horse. I have been part of the disabled riding scene for a long time and appreciate how different disabilities affect the rider and how this in turn affects the suitability of the horse. I am out there competing at the highest level, seeing the trends and standard of horse necessary to really make a statement on the 'big time'.Due my years as a rider, I have a wide network of contacts that allows me to source suitable horses at a variety of price points. I train youngsters with the view to them maturing into Para horses as well as preparing older horses for international success.

I train my own horses - in fact 2 horses trained from scratch by me were qualified for the Canadian team for World Equestrian Games 2014!

The perfect Para horse is even harder to find than the standard dressage horse - he needs to have movement, looks and trainability BUT also the right outlook for the particular rider, the right feel for that rider and the right biomechanic to suit that rider's disability!
