A massive bear- hug of a THANK YOU to all my Sponsors, team, trainers, supporters and my Mother for an amazing 2012!
In this last year, Whoop has gone from strength to strength, proving himself to be a top winning horse at his first International show. He has improved and moved on up in his training to perform in ways I could only dream of. With the support of our sponsors Whoop has physically and mentally changed beyond recognition.
I could not have done all of this without you! Thank you so much for everything! Roll on 2013! It is going to be a very exciting year! xxx

I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas! Whoop,Darcy and I had a great day. Darcy is enjoying her little hacking holiday with Zoe West. Whoop had a quiet day yesterday but today I took him to Auntie Zoe's to go for a stroll in the Fens. I think he enjoyed his outing!
Tomorrow, Whoop and I are off to Gareth Hughes' for a lesson. Really looking forward to it, feels like ages since we were last went training.
So pleased! It has taken forever (and winning lots of classes!) for Whoop to get a mention and a photo in H&H! And it is a beautiful photo taken at Hickstead British Para Champs by Kevin Sparrow. We are in the regional round-up report for winning our tests at Patchetts Para Winter Quailifier show. Thanks H&H!!!
So excited! Just got letter through the post to say I've been selected for the Lincolnshire Elite Athlete Porgramme 2013! The programme of events looks so interesting plus there is access to tailored athlete courses, mentoring support, personal development and media training. Really looking forward to meeting the other athlete on Induction day Jan 21st!!!!!!
Whoop, Carole and I made the long trip South, down to Patchetts, Watford for the Para Winter Qualifier Show. Whoop won both his Open Grade 3 classes with nice scores 67.5 and 68.14%. Still lots to improve on as they were far from 'clean' tests. So exciting as the good bits were fantastic, if we could just lose the cold weather spooky sharpness...
Whoop and I had a very cold but successful day at The College EC, Keysoe! Carole did her best to keep us both warm but with snow lying on the lorry park it was definitely Hot Chocolate weather. Whoop was rather tense and spooked at the pigeon flapping between the lightboxes. Nevertheless, we scored 5 points towards our BD Summer Elementary Open Regionals qualification. This year I am aiming to qualify him at Elem, Medium and Advanced medium.
This morning, Mother and I set off at 6am for the Unicorn Trust at Stow on the Wold in the Cotswolds for the Final Selection interviews of the World Class Development Programme. Even though it was very icy we made good time and were a bit early. I found it very interesting, being interviewed about plans, psychology and training really makes you have to think about your aims and ambitions. Hopefully, I came across as someone the World Class team felt they could work with so fingers crossed! Should hear in the next
